Vintage Brass Grand Hotel, Mackinac Island, Michigan Room 116 Key 1983 1984 era. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail which will include extra insurance.
I worked in the front office during the summers of 1983/84 as well working as limited office winter crew in their Lansing, Mi., office. As keys needed to be updated, the old would be disposed. I was granted the OK to hang on to a few. In the past year and a half, as we are downsizing, we came across 4 or 5 of these mementos. All have been sold at/or above the price we are beginning this auction, when this was found in a box in the barn of my 86 year old father-in-law. With the Musser family selling the Grand Hotel in 2019, memories come back clearly. Because our son is at university, all our selling off of items sales do go toward reducing university costs. I share this personal information only because some past sales of the brass keys, I would occasionally receive eBay potential buyers questions as to why the starting price. We have no concern if it doesn't sell (sentimental reasons), but if it should, then it must be a contributor to reducing our son's university costs. Thank you.
