.  The musical
opened NYC on
01/20/1903 and ran for 293 performances
.  It was revived on 03/21/1904 and ran for 171 performances
.  This production, originally done at the MUNY in Saint Louis in 1942, more closely followed the 1939 MGM motion picture and was adapted by Frank Gabrielson and used the score by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg.  This Carousel Theatre production ran from12/21/65 - 01/02/66.  Inside are costumed photos, headshot photos, bios, short synopsis, full cast and production list, musical numbers list, scene synopsis, some lyrics and a few ads.  The cast includes Connie Stevens, Stuart Erwin, Allen Jenkins, Ben Wrigley, Paul Jayson, Renie Riano, Donna Anderson and Bee Peters
.  Music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and book by L. Frank Baum, adapted by Frank Gabrielson (from the book by L. Frank Baum).  Directed by Hal Shafer and choreographed by Myrna Galle

Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
