Pearls are tested to the best of our ability for texture and layering. They are not professionally tested. Pearls that do not pass the texture and layering test are labeled “faux”. The approximate diameter is provided for size only, and the pearl(s) may or may not be perfectly round. 90% of the world’s pearls are now cultured and are not naturally occurring. We cannot distinguish between cultured and natural pearls. You are bidding with this knowledge in mind.
Color, when we describe the color (of a stone, gem, bead, or anything that is described by a color), we may have different lighting than you & some of us see colors differently. Please know that the color that is described could be slightly different & a return will not be accepted for this reason.
Amber is determined to be an organic by-product (ie not plastic) and we cannot make any statement as to age or if it has fossilized.
Bakelite has been identified via the scrubbing bubbles test or metal polish.
Testing:
All of our jewelry offerings are tested prior to going to auction. We use a Thermo Scientific Niton DXL Metal Analyzer to test for precious metals and or JSP Acid Solution Testing in conjunction with the aforementioned analyzer.
We describe each item to the best of our ability; however, we are
NOT
experts in any field. All gemstones are measured using electronic calipers.
All gemstones are tested on a Presidium Gemstone Tester. This equipment CANNOT determine between natural, lab created and synthetic gemstones. There are no returns accepted for lab created or synthetic gemstones.
Items may be vintage, antique or newer. There is still a chance that the stones can become loose or that a connector may need to be tightened. We are as delicate as possible with the items, but there is a possibility we may miss the flaw or that it may happen during shipment. No refunds permitted or given for gemstones that become dislodged from their setting in or during shipment.

Fedex is experiencing a very high volume of deliveries right now due to many businesses converting to online shopping due to the pandemic and are experiencing delays and lost packages. To counter this Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia is now putting ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED on your package delivery. This is to help prevent porch theft and to minimize lost packages. We are doing this for you, the buyer. This requirement is in your best interest and at no cost to you. We are paying for this surcharge and it is our way of giving back to you to ensure you receive your item(s). So if your order totals more than 0.00 (excluding, tax, handling and shipping) we are adding on the signature requirement. Items under the value of 0.00 will NOT be receiving the signature option. If you would prefer not to have the signature requirement, please contact us by opening a service ticket to let us know that you would not prefer it.

PHOTOGRAPHS:
All photographs are considered to be part of the description of the item, please be sure to review them before placing your bid. We DO NOT color enhance our photos. All photos are taken with iPhones and under LED lighting. Due to the way individuals see colors, the differences in color computer monitors and cameras there may be slight variations and or differences between the actual item and the photographs. There are no returns accepted on any item for color variation.
SHIPPING:
All shippable items are shipped by dimensional weight via Fedex Ground or Home Delivery. We do not use Express or overnight shipping. Dimensional weight is calculated by the carrier based on the amount of cubic space an item requires for transport, and may be higher than the actual item weight. These are Fedex rules, not ours. We try to ship items the day after receiving payment. Payments must be received by 7:00 am to be shipped that day. After 7:00 am the item(s) will ship the following day. We generally do not work weekends and therefore shipping is not done on those days.
PICKUP ITEMS:
All items are available for pickup at our Bellmawr, NJ location, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. No appointments are needed but please be advised that staff is at lunch from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm and there may be a slight delay in retrieving your item. Go into our Outlet store and tell a cashier you have an ecommerce pickup. Weekend pickups are available with 48 hours advanced notice.
We are located at 330 Benigno Blvd., Bellmawr, NJ 08091 in the Intrastate Business Park.
All pickups must be picked up within 30 days of payment. We do not send reminder notices to pick up your items. Failure to pick up items after 30 days results as the item being considered a donation with the item(s) being relisted for auction. There will be no refunds for failure to pick up your item after 30 days.
HANDLING FEES:
While we are happy to help combine orders and discount shipping fees, please note; WE DO NOT DISCOUNT HANDLING FEES. If you have a multi-piece order (5 or more items) the handling fees are capped at .00 and are waived after the fourth item.
RETURNS:
No item may be returned without prior authorization. We generally do not provide refunds unless there is a major discrepancy in the listing.
