Huge Southwest Native American Sterling Silver Turquoise Pin / Brooch
Presented is a beautiful American Indian sterling silver and turquoise pin or
brooch. We believe this to be Navajo work, but the maker's mark is obscured. The
brooch consists of a ring of egg shapes and spirals, set with real turquoise.
The turquoise stones are a gorgeous rich sky blue, with visible dark matrix.
This is an impressive, large brooch, guaranteed to make a statement when
worn.
This piece is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes
securely. The turquoise stones are securely set and have no chips or damages.
There are no breaks, and no repairs.
The pin is stamped and guaranteed sterling. There are remnants of another
mark above the sterling mark, likely a maker's mark, but unfortunately this is
too worn to read.
The pin measures about 4 1/8 by 3 3/4 inches.
This piece weighs 70.2 grams or 2.5 regular ounces.
