These foam fuel cell blocks are compatible with gasoline, E85, or alky fuels (not recommended for use with nitro-methane). This fuel cell safety foam keeps weight transfer/shift to a minimum, which provides you with more responsive and predictable handling. They can be cut and stacked as needed.

Summary:
Well its foam and its protective against fuel. I purchased this for a custom charcoal canister to hold the charcoal pellets in place and prevent the pellets from escaping the vent hole. Worked as I planned.
