Up for auction are two items related to "Commitment To Life VI", presented by AIDS Project Los Angeles, at the Universal Amphitheatre on November 18, 1992, and honoring David Geffen and Barbra Streisand.  The first piece is a vintage souvenir program book, measuring just under 8 by 11.5 inches in size.  The thirty-six page Souvenir Program identifies Shirley MacLaine as the host, and lists a number of celebrity performers that includes: Billy Joel, Eddie Van Halen, Patti Austin, Natalie Cole, Patti LaBelle, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Johnny Mathis and Barbra Streisand, among many others.  The second piece is a heavier book which lists all of the donors and benefactors to AIDS Project Los Angeles.  The thick book measures approximately 8 by 11.5 inches in size.
Both pieces are in great, vintage condition, with no missing or torn pages, no writing on any of the pages, and only minimal soiling and wear.  While the souvenir program is in virtually mint condition, the larger book does have some soiling, staining and spotting to the covers, as well as warping to the bottom half of the rear cover.  Please note that what might appear to be staining along the outside right edge of many of the pages, is actually the coloring/design of the page.
