    Description

    NGC authenticated and graded VF Details. Steel brown with antique yellow, orange, and olie tones. Lightly rough with scattered tiny pits. Despite the surfaces the details remain sharp and the legends and date are strong and readable. Breen Die

    1.0, Manley Die State 1.0 with the bisecting crack on the obverse. Donald G. Partrick noted on his flip "The fourth finest of only 11 known! Owned by the greatest collectors!"  Fantastic provenance, the only half cent attributed to Dr. Sheldon according to Partrick. Listed 6th in the Breen-Hanson Condition Census. 85 grains. No pole.
